writing the list for myself so i don’t forget lol :)
1. reflect on your summer
2. declutter work space, bedroom, wardrobe etc.
3. declutter stationery
4. declutter online files
5. declutter email
6. get apps for school & productivity
7. delete distracting apps (tiktok :/ )
8. organise a planning system/schedule
9. set goals: academic; personal; extracurricular etc.
10. find syllabus and organise it into schedule
11. get familiar w apps/websites needed for school
12. update cover letters etc.
13. find something to do outside of school
14. complete any introductory work for courses etc.
15. write out morning, evening and study routines
16. create a motivation board
17. find hobbies to destress
18. binge watch your fav shows while you still have time lmao
19. spend time w friends & family
20. relax & rest !!

The part with the deleted apps does make sense but I really don’t want to live just for school. I enjoy to lay just in bed and scroll through social media. After a hard day it’s so relaxing and calming. think it would be better to set daily time limits for apps.

For routines I like to make 3 for each:
High energy- when you want to get stuff done and feel productive
Low energy- accomplish what you need and nothing extra
Time crunch- when you’re running out of time, but still want a schedule to stay on track.

-organizing my desk n books
-delete distracting apps
-motivation board
-setting up goals
-going to learn guitar this year
-bing watch fave shows hehe
-im gonna read my book I've been delaying frm past few months.

Here’s my personal list:
•clean my work area and room

•establish a solid gym routine
•clean up my Spotify playlists/make new playlists
•fix my botched haircut
•fix my sleep schedule
•start my book
•declutter apps
•make sure I have the clothes I want/things to wear for fall
•play Stardew valley and hangout with friends while I still have time >:/

One tip I would have on the first day of school is to eat a large breakfast. Especially if you don't know when your lunch will be or if you're used to just eating whenever over the summer. Even if you're not a breakfast person I would just suggest doing this only on the first day so it's easier to shift into your new routine.
Ps: Thanks for all the tips in the video. Just looking at my room/desk makes me realize I need to clean it lol.

I started working 10 hours a day as a uni student. my family was overly controlling and toxic and did not allow me to even have a part time job, which meant I had to spend another summer enclosed in my room while stressing out for exams. Now I’m working and studying and hopefully this will inspire some people to evaluate their time and how they spend it, because you may not have much for yourself.

I've never really been an organised person and always did everything on impulse but since that I'll be a senior this year I wanna try to get my life together to accomplish my goals and get better grades and I wanna thank you for uploading these videos and giving me motivation (even if it's at 5am).

Another very important thing to do before school: Change your sleep schedule. If it’s still summer and you have time, you should make sure you have a reasonable sleep schedule. Like for example, I fall asleep at like 4am and I get up at 11am, so I’m going to try to change my sleep schedule into something that works for me where I’m getting enough sleep. Getting enough sleep is very important for your health, and a lot of people don’t get enough of it. If you have a bad sleep schedule and fall asleep too late, you should try setting alarms for when you need to do things and getting rid of distractions that keep you up all night. Like for me, I set alarms for the times I need to get ready for bed. Sleep is very important, and it should be one of the first things you do to get ready for the new school year.
