This is Part 6 of my Microsoft Access Association Database. In today's video we're going to work on the helper form and the helper type form. These allow you to create lists of lists so you don't need a million tiny tables in your database for lists of things like gender, occupation, ethnicity, and so on.

A thank-you note to Prof. Rost for continuing to make Microsoft Access extremely relevant.

This series is very gracious of you. There must be hours of hours of resourse, recording, editing and finializing to get these to us. Then to make it free is way too much for you to do. Thanks, and I'm throughly pleased to be a gold member.

For anyone following this great series.. I had a problem with copying the HelperF file for the HelperTypeF form it just wouldn't filter the Helper records? I tried a number of times but it just wouldn't filter. So I copied the _SingleF form instead and it worked a treat. Just a thought. This is great though I'm learning a lot thank you . BTW that helper system is genious :)
