For me I’m lucky. This feature is INCREDIBLY useful. I’m a transit driver and there are countless times throughout my day where passengers need to ask me information, or request a transfer etc etc. I have my earbuds in all day listening to music or podcasts. This allows me to just pause and play so effortlessly now so I can hear who’s talking to me. It’s amazing . Plus my playlist stack in Apple Music is huge. It’s where all my music is. So this is an amazing feature for me. Can also see why it would be useless or frustrating for other people too. Furthermore, the double tap to accept and hang up calls. Incredible as-well. This makes it so I never have to touch my phone which is a big big no no when I’m driving. I can only touch my phone when I’m parked, secured and in a safe location.

I just bought a brand new Apple Watch series 9 and the double tap does not work…

Double tap use to “dismiss” message notifications. I enjoyed it. I know I can just put my hand back down, but I wish that was an option still.

Wow so you can double tap when a photo is ready and camera is on on the iphone to take group pictures and be in it if iphone is set up and ready to take and instead of time then can just use finger gesture...that's awesome...along with heart monitoring (which i need at 54 with previous heart bypass) and different watch faces and everything else it can do i need to get one now...
