I stopped watching this video like around 2 weeks ago. When I did I actually was watching due to me going to purchase a 2004 E500 sedan as a project vehicle! Now I come back to this video and I should say, What an amazing vehicle. Coming from owning only Nissan/Infiniti what a fantastic handling car! I fixed an airmatic sensor and it’s riding pretty level planning on getting all 4 struts and pump replaced, As per taking it to the dealership for the SBC pump replacement (free no cost) as It’s randomly throwing a “Brake malfunction” I’ve put around 2K miles in it already it’s sitting at 210K miles got it for a steal! Too

I used to own a w210 and it was quite an amazing piece of machinery. I loved the fact that the washer fluid was heated by the engine coolant through a coil in the reservoir which was quite a great feature in winter.
However the late W210 which I owned had an issue with corrosion. I had to sell it. Sure, the C Class and the W211 had it too but only till 2004. The ones that came in 2005 and later, didn't had this issue. If you're searching for a good and tank like daily, try finding the 220 CDI or the more powerful 320 CDI.
When it comes to AMG, choose the less powerful version of it (I believe it was E55 AMG) and for the gasoline versions, the E320 is great, especially if you equip it with a LPG Gas installation.
Also if you manage to get one, choose the business version. It has air adjustable seats with vibration motors, Airmatic that's easier to service than the one in W220 and it has some extra features like my friend has one with factory refrigerator in the back seat row

I bought a 2005 8500 which I instantly fell in love with. Unfortunately within the first year I discovered an air leak in the front right balloon. To get another one what is expensive. But then I investigated purchasing high quality, High quality iron coil springs to replace the air on all fours. As it turned out, I found a mechanic that would do it, and I bought the parts, and I did it all for around $1800. Now I have a car that I never have to worry about having an air leak in the suspension. I still love it just as much, in fact I love it more, because I don't have to worry about ever having an air leak again.

It is the best E class for sure. To me personally only c207 coupe based on the w212 beats w211 in terms of looks but not in quality and realbility. Also the w211 was the last E class to have the bulletproof oldschool mercedes engines.

I'm actually confused about which to buy! There are two offers for me 2001 e430 V8 in a very good condition or a 2009 e350 also good condition but the newer one is like 1500$ more. which one will you chose? Recommend.

Drag coefficient might be better. I remember when the W124 came out it had a lower drag coefficient than some Porsches...

Great info, superb video, thank you! But awful that it's become even possible--really, a Chinese Mercedes? One reason I chose the W211 E350 (after owning a W124 300E) was that it was still made at the main factory in Sindelfingen. Another reason I chose the big M272 V6 /E350 was that few were ever optioned with air suspension--and the AvantGarde E350 is fitted with lowered sport steel suspension from the factory. I thought the V6 E350 with sport suspension a great compromise. I'm the second owner and it took several years of regular 6-monthly servicing before the car was returned to an excellent mechanical state throughout.
