The 450h is the fastest of its predecessors, so I'm not sure what you're talking about, the v6 being slow!

Lexus lost is quality. The LS400 is arguably the greatest car of its time. The LFA is considered one of the best cars of all time


The entire point of Lexus was basically a cheaper and more reliable mercedes.
Today Lexus cars cost a fortune, but for what? A pretty boring ( in most cases ) but reliable engine. Thats it, their interiors are always outdated for the time too,

You’d buy a lexus in the past because its 30% cheaper than the merc. Today they’re almost the same price, but nowhere near the quality of the 3 german brands. They fell off by todays standards

I seriously considered the GS before getting my W211. Yes it's more reliable and cheaper to maintain but... the GS is boring! The W211 is a much more exciting car to drive.
