If I were in the market for a tablet I would definitely opt for the Tab S8 after watching your comparison, it gives a lot more bang for the buck (expandable storage, included pencil, etc.). And this from someone who lives in an Apple ecosystem.

I'm switching to iPhone soon because of personal reasons but I'm not leaving windows. I was considering an ipad for the iPhone but seeing the way the samsung tab integrates so well with windows I think I'll have to get that one instead. Expandable storage is also a massive bonus for me.

In Brazil Samsung Reigns supreme due to Apple abusing prices.

I'm still using my Tab S6 Lite from 2020 and it is still good for watching Netflix and YouTube. Was really tempted to upgrade when S8s were released but I guess I'll wait for a year or two 😁

I disagree with what most creators keep saying about apps being better optimized for iPads. Maybe it’s because it’s only the most popular social media like twitter and co, but for the majority of apps I have tested, they scale better on my older tab s7 than my current iPad Air 4. It’s not even a competition. Lots of apps I use on my iPad have this weird rendition as an iPhone app, and I can’t even resize it to fit properly. Apart from popular apps like twitter, instagram, TikTok ( basically social media apps), other apps like Metamask, Bolt, Jumia and so on render poorly on my iPad. On the other hand, on my previous tab s7 even if the apps scale poorly, I can simply resize them or even have them as floating windows and voila, problem solved. I cannot do that on the iPad. What I see is what I get.

In Germany there was a new years sale on a bigger Online Shop where i bought the Tab S8 + Galaxy Watch 4 in a Bundle for 580€. I dont think i will get them both that cheap anytime soon

Hey man! I am from India and the Samsung S8 costs about 600 dollars for 8 RAM+128 ROM (base variant) and the iPad 10 gen costs around 480 dollars for 64 gb only WiFi and 660 dollars for 256 GB only WiFi.

So, I am really confused on what to buy because I am a university student and 64 gb would be very less for me and in iPad there's no SD card slot and I don't wanna buy apple cloud and all, it's October 2023, what should I get under 600 dollars?
