When I worked for Roland I was asked one morning if I was free to give Genesis a demo of some new equipment. I of course said sure. Got there and Tony Banks and Mike Rutherford were there. Then Phil Collins walked in and came and grabbed my hand and said hi. I couldn't believe I was with the guy that wrote this amazing song. One of my all time favourites. Very talented guy

I listen to this song everyday since my husband passed away from depression. I wish he could have seen what life is like now that he is no longer with us. This song is everything I want to tell him bc his loss has torn my soul into pieces. However, I love how music can make so much sense in so many different areas of our lives. The ups, the downs, the “In betweens”, it describes so many areas of the soul and can literally help a person make it through their day. This is one of those very true n special songs. Thanks Phil Collin’s, for helping me say everything I feel in your lyrics but can never seem to get it out verbally on my own.
