He performed in London about four hours ago...then he take the Concorde, flight to New York, and perform again in Philadelphia the same day, in the other side of the world....amazing !!!

I was in that crowd, at age 17. The summer between high school and college was marked by so many highlights, including the best concert of my life. When Phil appeared, we all went nuts because we knew he just got off the Concorde after performing in London a few hour earlier.

Absolute LEGEND. Played Live Aid, London in the morning then took a Concorde to the states and played Live Aid Philadelphia in the afternoon. The 80's ruled, stuff like that doesn't happen anymore. The 80's had it all, Concorde, the music, the cars etc it was all there. Truly the best time to be alive.

Imagine a man that can hold the entire world breathless, in the the palm of his hand using only his voice and a piano..yet hes derided and the butt of endless jokes while true cartoon characters are praised as "musician's" no jacket requiree?no respect given!

London is 5 hours ahead of Philadelphia, because of the timezone he arrived across the ocean to perform at practically the same time he left. This is crazy, this is historic and epic.

Icon. Live Aid 85 had Collins, Elton, Queen, Bowie. That quartet of artists is arguably some of the 10 greatest artists of all time. Special.

I'll never forget Live Aid, it was not just a great concert but a groundbreaking event. And Phil came over in the Concorde! which was pretty cool at the time.

you can clearly see Phill was pissed off about his last performance, he was on a mission to nail it this time

He was the only performer to play at both stadiums in England and Philly! Dude jumped on a Concord and flew across the Atlantic Ocean!

One of the best songs ever written; it makes me cry, every time! 💜💜💜Phil Collins!🌟 The audience rendered silent, at times, so awe struck! Magical performance! What a stunningly beautiful voice! 🎹🎼🎁🌟

Unbelievable. The brass neck to go and play it again 4 hours later on the other side of the world. What a great time we lived in back then.
