I'd suggest Wizard101 for beginners and someone who is into turn-based rpgs. The beginning levels might feel a bit slow, but it gets better at around level 60. There are many challenging high-level dungeons as well. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who is into Harry Potter.

My wife struggles with 3D games due to her eyesight, but I actually managed to get her into SWTOR recently. Mind you, she gave up at level 20 as she found it too slow & boring, especially all the running around everywhere & cut scenes. Go figure - typical Diablo player lol!
