I haven't watched a video of yours in a while, but I used to watch your videos as part of my night time routine. Really grateful for that time in my life and I just wanted to say thank you for being an inspiration!

"Shut up and work" - Albert Adria (3 Michelin star chef)
#3 really strikes me as important. If you can change your mindset from blaming others or complaining about external circumstances and just give it your all things start to change.

Is the gremlin actually just shame (referring to Lesson #2)? I immediately thought this had to be connected somehow, for anyone familiar with Brene Brown's work. Actually, now that I'm writing this I just remembered that Brene uses the phrase "shame gremlins", so I feel like a deeper understanding of shame might be helpful in understanding the Upper Limit Problem. I mean one of the four pillar beliefs/underpinnings Gay Hendricks lists is the belief that one is fundamentally flawed, which to me sounds exactly like shame... He also mentions being a burden as another pillar, but I kind of feel like that's the same thing or perhaps a way someone can feel shameful. The second and fourth pillar are about abandoning one's roots or traditions and outshining others, respectively, which both sound like perhaps symptoms or connections to shame? I'm not sure, but that's what I'm connecting. Anyone else pick up on this?

Hundreds of book reviews on the big leap book.

Almost none of them include how bad habits influence our upper limits prosperity.

You can have all the necessary attributes and mindsets about the upper limit but have terrible distracting habits that sabotage even the most positive mental attitude.

Almost none of those four items on the list affect many people but the bad habits are the limiting factor in achieving the upper limit. I scratch my head and wonder why so many people don't include bad habits being a part of self-harm
