Everything sounds great until the issue afterwards.
Where Eggman reveals that he had a little contingency plan. He rewrote reality twice over.
Sonic only removes the top layer with his actions here.
Meanwhile, Eggman fixed it so his robotasizers work again.
And plan on using the death eggs giant version on Station Square.
Which would’ve had the effect of blowing up the city.

So Sally in a desperate attempt to stop it has all of the energy of the robotasizer channel through the conduit she was currently in fully aware of what it would do to her.

Transforming her into a minion of Eggman’s for a time.
