It’s amazing how much the Tailosive Network has grown in the four years since that space grey monster was released. Keep the great content coming!

A nice goodbye letter.

I agree with you that, for iMac systems sold without a built-in DVD super-drive, there were none better than a 27-inch iMac Pro (the ports, the power, the display, the cool space "gray" color with matching track pad and mouse, etc.). This is why, I plan on adding one to my collection after their price drops below $2, 000 on the used market (smile...smile).

I agree. The best all-in-one desktop... I have a base 8core model and it is awesome. Everything works fine, it is silent, good for gaming via bootcamp, good for development (Xcode). 5k display. Minimalistic, awesome mics, camera... Overall best mac I've ever owned

Just picked up one used from eBay in EXCELLENT condition and amazed by the performance of this thing. 32gb of RAM, 1TB SSD and the Vega 56 8gb graphic card -- been editing in Lightroom and it's been so much quicker than using a M3 iMac.

I bought a used 10-Core iMac Pro recently and love it. It's as fast as an M1 Max in 3D rendering, which is my main job.

Anyone watching in 2024, I can confirm that m3 pro 12 core is just marginally faster than the 10core iMac Pro. But iMac still renders in keyshot faster.

I actually really want to buy one of those. I really like the iMac Pro. I actually have M2 Max, and Ultra Apple Silicon stuff etc. but I still really like the iMac Pro for some reason... and I really just want one idk
Great video Drew, you've really reinforced my desire for one (not sure whether to laugh or cry)

Hi, Hope you are good. Do you think this imac Pro would be still a good choice to buy in 2024 or 25? I am concerned that I won't be able to update the latest software. I want to have the 27 inch screen than 24 inch. Thanks.

I still love this design and implementation.

Drew. Been watching since your early years. I bought a 27” normal 5k iMac in 2015 and it lasted until last year. Now I’m hoping the new 2021 iMac Pro will be a good $5K investment.

Can anyone help me? Does Intel Xeon W 3.2GHz, , 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD, AMD Radeon Pro Vega 56 8GB worth it in September 2023 for $800 without magic keyboard and mouse?

Honestly the 2020 27 Inch iMac does have a more powerful GPU but the iMac Pro still has the incredible Xeon. The iMac to get in 2023 would probably be a 2020 27 inch with the 5700xt model, and you upgrade the ram and storage yourself. Upgradability!

I still use one till today. The 5K display is still one of the best you can find, try finding a similar one and you'll quickly end up with a Studio Display. The Pro's speakers are simply great, best sound quality on any computer ever. Even though it's Intel, it's still plenty fast in 2024 for most tasks, including video editing in FCP. It's hard to find a compelling reason to upgrade, which for me will be the Mac Studio down the line. Best of all, it is still supported by Apple’s latest OS version, including the upcoming Mac OS Sequoia.

Still happy i bought the Mac Pro 2019. Yeah, it cost a lot of money. But for what i do with it, it will last me years and that's good enough for me. The modularity will keep on going existing. Even though it might not be from "Apple itself." PCI-E is third party in most cases anyway. That being said, i remember Craig saying the Mac Pro will be supported for years to come, and yes, when it comes to that, i believe him. Look at the old 2009 cheesegrater, in a lot of cases, it is still being uses. If i can get anywhere from 5 to 10yrs out of this Mac Pro, that would be incredible! Meanwhile, i will lookout of course for what Apple has to show with the new upcoming Mac Pro. The only thing i can hope for is that it's at least a bit cheaper. I'm looking out for a new Apple XDR display as well with Promotion and mini led!
