Thank you. I'm going through a divorce. Adulterous relationship. I'm hurting so bad. I regret it so much. But I know they are gone for a reason. I'm now finding peace. This is my time to rest in God. My worst sins always involved pride.

Regret and sorrow are constant companions now.

I failed as a son.

I failed as a brother.

I failed as a husband.

I failed as a father.

I failed as a friend.

Mistakes turn into bad decisions.

Bad decisions seem to be my stock in trade!

I have very little now.

Little time, little money.

What I do have, I don't feel I deserve.

No friends or family around me.

Nothing left to me but the promise of salvation through Jesus!

Due to that, and that alone, I can say, "It is well with my soul."!

I married a religious narcissist and was suicidal most of 32 years and had five children..two whom have died and the other three messed up because of him..and he is starting on the grandchildren. I’m struggling with alcoholism. I went to a Christian based rehab. It helped tremendously but now that I am home, Satan is pissed and attacking me on all sides. God is far greater than the Satan and is seeing me through. Some days it’s hard not to drink my vodka. On those days I spend in prayer.

Instead of looking back with regrets I would rather take my sinful experiences and combine those with biblical scripture then hopefully teach someone else how much better that would have gone for me if I had came to the Lord's side sooner, and followed his laws. How much heartache it would have saved me, how much money it would have spared me, etc, etc. Then I let them know how much more peaceful I feel by following God's path for me, and walking along side of him and not away from him. My biggest regret are all the times I did not fully trust God and tried to figure out my own life and think I could live it well. That did not work. SO - my greatest joy today is KNOWING how faithful God is, the only way I could find out was trust him, one problem at a time and watch him provide, he did, EVERY time in very surprising ways sometimes!
