Once your eyes get used to the rich color and true black of OLED, you cannot return to LCD.

3 reassons not to buy Asus OLED laptops:
1# Burn-In pixels
2# Color degradation after some time
3# Price

Can ASUS mention anything in regards to DC dimming, or how their OLED screens on laptops can stop headaches induced by flickering? Or how long will these screens be color accurate until the OLED screen inevitatbly loses the organic components that they once had over time?

I bought this laptop recently and I have to say that not having anti glaring treatment is a major issue specially when displaying big areas of black or dark colours.

It would be amazing if Asus Oled-care supported Linux (ubuntu and major distros), I was determined to buy ASUS Zenbook 14 oled but many features don't work on ubuntu

However, OLED displays are burning earlier. And is a bad solution for static content as the windows dock.

Hopefully this comes to your gaming laptop line-up too since Gigabyte has started doing this to their Aero creator laptops too... Also 120Hz refresh rates please.

All good on paper, but how do you deal with the burn in problem?

They might be good for a year or so, but OLEDs eventually come with burn in or color degradings, as the organic parts of the screen changes over time. 1 or 2 years on a smartphone display is okay, but for a laptop, that's a no go for me. I might have to hang on to one for at least 4 to 5 or even 7 or 8 years depending on how much money I am willing to shell out for the next big thing.

People buy laptops for other reasons than just the display. What about performance? Connectivity? Battery life?

I really want the zenbook pro duo, but I’m worried about the burn in, since I’ll be using blender c4d, and Adobe cc most of the time, average couple hours a day, and theorems static tool bars on all the apps I will be using. Can anyone share their experience with oled laptop? I’m planning to use it for at least 3 years

Why does ASUS continue to use SMBv1 on the RT-AC86U router? I would like not to be hacked but this fix only depends on ASUS
