One thing I would REALLY like to see in future handhelds is display over USB-C, because I've love to be able to throw on a pair of projection glasses without needing micro-hdmi/hdmi/usb-c dongles

Our collection of favorites is very similar. I was very pleasantly surprised by the G Cloud but the Ayn Odin still manages to trump it in so many ways.

I've had my Odin Pro for about a month now and it's taken everything I've thrown at it. What a versatile device.

Yea the Odin Pro is the only ARM handheld I have had and I love it. In the future I will be upgrading to PC handhelds, as long as they are pocketable like the odin.

About the G Cloud being made in collaboration with a company, the G Cloud is actually a collaboration with Logitech and Tencent already, so the price is just high to be high. 4:50 for reference.

I will say the rg503 is very comfortable to hold and that screen is amazing 👏

RG353V is my favorite for travel. Fits easily in my pocket and carry on inside my switch case when flying.

Admittedly very different use cases between us. My number 1 is the Miyoo Mini V2 it's so easy to take on the go and it plays up to PS1 no problem all for only $50. I like the Ayn Odin but at it's price point I can't make it make sense. Seems like I would be better served with a Steam Deck at that point.

I love pocketable handhelds, so my favorites are RP3+ and RG353M. Both of these devices have awesome design and performance for their price. RG353M is a bit less powerful than RP3+, but it's more compact and it has Linux, which is more preferable for me. I really hope that Anbernic will continue to make new handhelds in that size and that exact form-factor.

Since seeing your video about the Odin and Taki Udon's video i always wanted a Odin, and a Pro to have more storage to play many games while o try to get a SD Card, and man, it's a go to Android Handheld that gets almost all points from me, mostly because of so much power and many tweaks in emulation it is at best a powerhouse, even cloud gaming seems 100% goat in it...
So much that i'm even challenging myself in Retroachievments and just got my Platium for Megaman 8, holy moly, it's one of my best consoles so far, so good to see it on your first place, it deserves it, and you too for all this emulation success
Hope to see more handhelds in 2023...

For year's I've been wanting one of these little hand-held retro consoles just to toss in my backpack for trips or when I want to play something but not necessarily sit on the couch or at my desk. I have been using my Samsung Galaxy Tab for emulation but I need a controller for it and the form factor isn't exactly small or hand held. Thanks for making this video.
