I can actually explain the waterfall thing I don't know if that actually might be a thing that happens in California but sometimes waterfalls can form from Wells deep within the Earth maybe a water vein got poked and the water starting to come out that way

Dude, water that comes out of the ground is called a spring. Springs don't have to be inside a well or a cave or something like that. If the ground water level is close enough or above the ground (when you have a ditch) the water starts to come out of the ground, that can be a fu** ton of water.

The technical term for the floating rocks is they were "asleep" according to the physics engine. Basically when something isn't interacted with for long enough, its physics get turned off for performance. Then you touch it, and physics literally does remember its one job.

But no rat stomping? Literally unplayable.

Now I wanna get Any Austin on GTA’s rivers. He already did 4’s power lines and both Hyrule’s and Skyrim’s rivers, surely he could do 5’s rivers

The rat one reminds me of something from Assassin's Creed III. You can squish a rat by walking on it, but if you do it while riding a horse the rat will be completely fine 😅.
