My heart breaks for Ekko, he lost everything so quickly- As a literal child, he saw the brutal murder of his father figure and then everyone just left without coming back, nobody ever being able to give him an answer. The only thing he had left of his past was Powder, but now as Jinx and he had to accept that, too. But he still built a beautiful sanctuary from the ground up and is still protecting others and giving them a second life ;-; His heart is huge and golden, and I don't think they truly touched on his trauma, but this scene was so touching. <3 I always loved his character, but this series has made him my favourite for sure.

This portrayal of Ekko honestly just further solidifies why he’s my favorite human character in the League lore. He’s the embodiment of the phrase, “see a need, fill a need.” Innocents caught up in Silco’s hostile takeover? Find a sanctuary. Silco’s Shimmer causing too much chaos? Attack his supply lines in lightning-fast ambushes. No one is fighting for the innocents of Zaun? Fine. He’ll do it himself, and with a small army at his back. He doesn’t wait to do what’s right. He’s already out there, doing what he knows needs to be done.

The way his guard INSTANTLY melts when she hugs him... I feel like he hasn't had that kind of affection in years because he can't afford it. He has to be the leader, the boy savior. But with Vi he can just be a kid from the Lanes.

I kind of teared up at this scene I’m ngl. I can only imagine how Ekko felt at this moment. Vi used to be that older “leader” that he looked up to and learned from. When she was imprisoned, he had to fend for himself and all the other vulnerable kids out there and became the leader Vi was meant to be. When Ekko finally hugs Vi, he can finally can get a breath of relief as he hugs his old “leader” once again. The one he relied on so heavily at one point.

At 1:38 when the kid heads out the door, Ekko leans slightly to give him more space. This studio is INREDIBLE with details.
