ekko really lost benzo, vander, all his friends in about a day, then had to deal with silco flooding zaun with shimmer, and YET, yet my dude made a whole ass ecological commune, rescued drug addicts, children, and created a whole resistance. zero help from piltover all the way. What a king

Ekko created more than a resistance. He gave the kids of the Lanes a home

The way Ekko talks about Jinx, considering how their fight later goes, makes me wonder if Ekko tried to reach out for Powder when Vi was in prison. If he did I really hope we get that flashback in season 2

Jinx kills 5 firelights in the shimmer raid. Combine that with Vander and Mylo and Claggor and basically that entire mural is just her bodycount.

1:43 the pink haired new one being spray painted was the girl that looked like vi that jinx killed. So yah, jinx killed some of his friends indeed. No wonder ekko gave up on powder a long time ago

1:48 wtf Ekko licks his lips. The attention to detail is incredible

Ekko did good work here. Giving the downtrodden a 2nd chance when Silco just gave them a fix, not a life.

Ekko is the most unique character in this entire show. His entire vibe is so...vibrant. I love how he uses mask with an owl face on it, representing love and wisdom, which is evident by his home.
Another aspect of his I loved is his hourglass face paint. It's such a unique way of marking yourself out as a leader while also being able to disappear at a moments notice. He's created a whole style for himself while also staying true to the values he lived by in his younger days. He truly is the boy savior.

0:27 I like that he actually says the word died. Yeah he hesitated but sometimes it’s the cliche “After he got…” and then they start a new sentence because they’re still in grief. Just a small detail I appreciate.

The mural really shows who Ekko respected and loved the most. With Benzo, Vi, and Powder being the ones most illuminated and the light being focused on Vi and Powder; it pretty heartbreaking and tragic what happens to all of them.

This is the reunion Vi needed: not only her little brother is Alive, but he's continuing the work of Vander, saving kids, people whose lives Silco destroyed with drugs or actively killing them. And Ekko is fighting Silco actively too. We've seen in episode 4... we've seen Jinx killing in cold blood innocent firelights. The red haired girl she shoot in the back is being painted right now on the wall.
After seeing this i'll never undestand people that think Silco is a good father, a godfather more like.

Ekko was forced to grow up way too soon.
And yet despite his obvious demons, unlike Jinx, he learned to move forward. He still kept Vander’s dream of peace alive and created this city for the people to feel safe. He became the father of a new city all at such a young age.
What a king.

0:43 appreciate the animation. You can see his eyes very subtly shift from looking at Ekko then to Vi as anyone's eyes would do in real life. Just so much detail with such small movements. <3

I appreciate that he has a painting of Powder up there. To Ekko, Powder died a long time ago and all that's left is Jinx.

Really glad that ekko’s character built this, it shows that the lanes aren’t just filled with human suffering, that there is beauty and resilience there.

Ekko is easily the biggest hero of Arcane Season 1.

It’s so sad because it he’s had to grow up watching silco raise jinx and seeing how he couldn’t help her
princessmochi
Ekko has done a really great job keeping these kids safe guys!😊👍

I like how when they focus on Powder in the mural the music is ominous instead of like hopeful music because it’s powder it’s her innocent child self, the theme gives off a “ can she still be saved?” vibe

Silco loved Jinx, but he was not a good father nor a good influence, it was such a sad sight to see them spiral out of control. Such a good story telling
