Imagine being so anxious to have your preference be approved, you have to go and talk shit to a stranger on the internet about how their inability to eat raw meat makes them a someone that should rather starve.

I swear bro who cares about how someone eats their steak yall are the biggest yappers. If your steak is not juicy then its a skill issue.

On occasion I mess up and overcook the steak. Well done steaks are not always that bad if you cook it like this. Butter in the pan for me but it still comes out fairly good.

Well done is the only way I’m going to eat it. No judgment on the raw eaters either

I love it well done only with garlic, omion powder, pepper, parsley and oregano as well as a marinade on top of the salt.

It is funny that liking something cooked properly is weird and frowned upon, but eating raw meat is OK and rational. Like fire was discovered thousands of years ago, we are not neanderthals.

I think that all types of doneness can be good and appropriate for a variety of settings. This looks so good! I usually am a medium rare guy, but once in a while, a well done steak, that's done well, well ... That's a great thing

You don't need to do all that.

Fry on high heat, 5 minutes on each side and turn 4 times.

Well done 👏🏽

The people in the comments complaining about a tough steak must be so weak-jawed they were probably mouth fed pre-chewed food like baby birds all the way up to adulthood 😂

I'm going to say this for the people who don't get it, the butter is supposed to take the place of fat in cooking.

If your steak is well marbled, the butter is unnecessary.

I'm not saying you can't add it anyway. I'm just saying that you don't need it to cook it well done and still have it be tender and juicy.

The leaner the cut, the more effort and skill it will take to properly cook it well done.

Now, I know there are people who can cook a lean cut well done with only salt and pepper without drying it out but I'm not at that level.

I usually use butter and onions to lower the difficulty when I cook it.

There are, of course, plenty of brine methods and such that can help with lowering the difficulty. Salt and baking soda are popular but you really have to wash off the baking soda before you cook it or it gets an off taste. Water and/or vinegar would be my suggestion for removing the baking soda.

There are other tricks like using honey but I don't remember them all.

Some cuts are extremely difficult to tenderize. Like, they're tough even if all you do is barely sear them. I'm talking shoe leather tough. Most people either cut them super thin or shred them to keep them from being too chewy. I completely avoid these cuts because I just don't have the energy to work that hard tenderizing a cheap cut but there are people that can even make those cuts buttery soft. I know my limits, I'm not one of those people.

Eat it how you like it. When I was a kid I liked well done steaks too.

At that point it's no longer a steak it's a roast

You people will eat a brisket thats been cooking for days and call it one of the best meat you ever had. Eat smash burgers and call it the greatest. But draw the line at a well done steak. The double standards is just out of this world.
