UK general election 2024: What you need to know

The United Kingdom general election is just days away, and opinion polls suggest Britain is headed for its first change in government in 14 years. If the polls prove accurate, the opposition Labour Party under Keir Starmer could take power come July 4. This could mean a shift of priorities and policies from the right to the centre-left. CNA’s Arnold Gay explains what is at stake.
