How labour did it. they did it because it’s either labour or conservatives.

Labour didn't do it. The Tories were just so bad. Labour only gained 1.8% on Corbyn's historical failure. A 35% vote share is the lowest of any winning party. Shows just how bad the Tories have been.

So Labours vote share increased by 1.6% and as aresult it gets 100% increasse in seats share. That's some cool democracy. Looking forward to doing 1.6% more work in my job and getting a 100% pay rise.

It will be interesting to watch the 'fully costed manifesto' steadily crumble over the next 6 months.

Interesting facts:
1. Only 60% of eligible UK voters bothered to vote.
2. Of those that bothered, Labour took one third of the votes.
3. THAT MEANS 80% OF ELIGIBLE UK VOTERS DIDN’T VOTE LABOUR, AND THEY WON BY ‘LANDSLIDE’!😂

Reminder that in Europe, only the UK and Belarus use FPTP. That the LD got 1 seat for every 50k votes received while Reform got 1 seat for every 1 million votes received is daft.

it's not hard to be better than the conservatives it's a really low bar

As a non-UK person, why is there such a difference between the percentage each party got and the seat distribution in parliament? Labour got more than half of the seats but just around 33% of the votes. That doesn’t add up.

Despite Greens going from 1 to 4 seats, and Reform having the same, Greens still going ignored and supressed in 3... 2...
Media is so rw

One third of the votes, almost two thirds of the seats, FPTP is looking less defensible than ever.

Nothing will change, Labour will raise taxes, not deal with the illegal immigration and life in Britain will get harder for anyone who is not rich.
