So you need to get into the UEFI BIOS? well I will show you how to get into BIOS quickly with simple command shudown /r /fw

*If you are getting "A required privilege is not held by the client." use '/o' instead of '/fw'*

You don’t need to enter as an admin. If you want to go to the advanced boot options instead, substitute /fw for /o. If you add “/t 1” that will aide the process to start after 1 second and remove the need to wait.

To my knowledge, this will only work if you have a UEFI-compatible motherboard and have Windows set up in UEFI mode (as opposed to Legacy/CSM). Just in case anyone wonders why it might not work for them, this might be one thing to check.

That's awesome and I'll be using this. I often work on laptops which are tricky to "catch" the F1 bios key on restarting. Thanks. I wonder what the /fw stands for?

Hello. I tryed windows 11 and decided to go back to windows 10. And after that, my pc always start up in bios. Even if i select my hard drive in bios to boot from. Any help?

It recognized the code, let me close and then the screen went black and said no signal. I also had to use dashes instead of forward slashes. I’m starting to feel like I will never get back into bios.

My computer refuses to go into bios. Skips the starting screen where they show logo and how to go into bios and takes me directly to password screen. Then I did this it’s been 15 minutes and still waiting the computers running but the screen is black.
