Correct me if I'm wrong, but at 1:30 isn't it Léon loading the smg? Inside the apartment it is all dark when the guy starts shooting, while in this scene the windows are opened and the rooom is well lit. So it actually Léon, who after having himself handled the same gun, had a brief flashback that comfirmed the source of the sound.

Leon is on Netflix again - so I decided to rewatch it. At the end of the movie, this specific scene I realized never showed up. I scrolled through and could not find it! So annoying. Saw this version of the movie SO many times - uncut apparently - and rewatching it on Netflix has it cut.

That was dumb, to put his body between the light of the hallway and those bullet holes. Would have formed a connect-the-dot man with a perfect idea of how tall, and wide he was, and right where to put the crosshairs on his heart... not like they guy was using them.
