How To Apply Plaster Flat: IN DEPTH TUTORIAL!!

In this video, I'm going to show you how to apply your first cost of plaster and I'll show you how to get it flat from stage one.

One of the toughest things with learning how to plaster is learning how to apply plaster FLAT to the wall. It can be tough BUT there are a few things that you can do to improve.

I'll show you the importance of different towel positions, I'll show you how to get the plaster on the wall and I'll also show you the exact techniques I use to get my walls flat from stage one.

This is ideal for anyone who wants to learn plastering but also useful for the people who just want to improve their game!

Hi Blaine your videos have given me a better understanding of plastering the way you explain it is more easier to understand. I have seen your earlier videos where your lines disappeared but you never said how to make them go. Now you have. Really good explanation. I find that explaining why you do a technique then how really helps.

Thank you so much for this, holding the rounded trowel totally flat to the wall on the return flattening stroke is the key to laying on evenly and flat, needing very little filling afterwards, I always ran the trowel at a slight angle before, stupid really, it made lots more work. As a multi trade guy, I almost doubled my productivity using this one tip, two almost perfect 13m ^ 2 walls in 3 hours.
