This has been working for so long but now all of the sudden whenever I download an apk it does NOT show up on my headset anywhere, and sidequest is saying that it’s working when it’s not

Dude, really helpful, thank you. I’ve been trying off and on since I got my first headset six months ago to install unofficial games from the .apk file. I had to look down in the comments on your video here and do a little googling and figure out exactly why everyone’s version of sidequest looked different than mine and got it figured out, so stoked😁 just needed that damn toolbar😅

Hi, I have the version 1.16 of sidequest and I dont see these icons in the sidequest app, the close thing I have to do to trying install an apk in my quest 2 is transfer files :/

I install my apk files the same way you do it in the video but then when I try to start the game I wil see the loading screen of the game or a black screen and then It returns to my home enviroment. I hope you know what this issue is and have the time to help me out please?

apks not showing up in the data files. wont show up in unknown sources. said it succeeded. but the obb files worked out fine is there a fix?

Installing third-party apps on Oculus Quest 2

1) Install the .apk
2) Copy the folder to \Android\obb\
3) Launch the game from unknown sources

I don't have ANY of these options in the SideQuest App on my PC. It installed fine and is connecting fine (green light), but the interface looks entirely different. There is no row of icons to choose from along the top as in your video. Just selections down the left side (Home, Transfer Files, headset Setings, Setup, Support, Give Feedback). Any idea what the problem could be? Thanks!
