Nice design for student housing in mild weather, dry climates. For wet climates the roof should slant toward the back of the units to drain water and there should be gutters and downspouts. For cold climates the washer/dryer should be indoors -- move that kitchen wall further to towards the rear of the units to make room indoors for each washer/dryer. The windowless bedroom would not pass the building codes in the U.S. Just get rid of the bedroom wall that has the door and turn the bedroom into an alcove for the bed. Hang curtains across the opening to block light in the bed area. No need for more bedroom privacy than that because just one person or a couple would be living in one of these tiny units.

Make it wheelchair accessible with wider doorways, a tall toilet, & handicap railings. This would work for independent living of limited seniors & other restricted mobility people. Ideally with a side-by-side W/D unit available.

Get rid of the stone cladding and paint. Place factory painted hardy board instead for durability.
Use commercial method of flat roof using small rocks. Search the perfect wall system.
Get rid of that designer door on the exterior. The small ledges on it hold water. Bad long term
Place the ac in a high spot so you don't have theft issues, because this would probably be used in that area. All prevents flood damage and takes away walking space.
Instead of interior walls, use Murphy bed and other fold out furniture.
Or atleast use barn door for bedroom.
It would be much more low budget if you put the plumbing on the same wall for 2 units.

This us a great idea when you are planning to have an apartment for bussiness of your own good and uiu know what i agree whit this especisly when you dont havd enouh budget very. simple the design and work out of this work are great

1. Make the washer (and dryer if desired) part of the kitchen. One can put a shroud around it to reduce noise.

2. Place the toilet, basin and shower against the back wall. Essentially use all the open space shown in the laundry, for the bathroom.

3. Move the bedroom back.

4. More space for the living area which is the most important space in the house.
