Don't forget to also look good shipping rates. Some people rake you over the coals with shipping.

Do you need to buy laptops or extra devices to mimic users? I'd be so lost if I just bought equipment :(

I'm looking to build a home lab. Down the line, I want everything to be functional. I don't want 10/100 switches and routers. I have 10 gigabit ethernet connection on my primary equipment. At the very least I am fine with gigabit ethernet. What are my options for a full 1 gigabit lab? Preferably hardware that supports LACP?

Hi Jorge, I love your videos and I would like to ask 2 questions 1. if you can post more frequently? . And more importantly 2. I just wanted to ask you, how having a lab setup in your home can effect your electricity there certain devices i.e. 2950, 3560 which are less power consuming than other. Please let me know. Thanks :)

Hi Jorge, always loving your videos, I have a question for you.
I am a CCNA who earned it with 3 physical 2610xm's and 3 2950c's which I sold when i moved across states.

For my university CCNP classes starting in May, we need to use Cisco Premium Learning Labs. I am planning on getting their premium subscription that comes with extra lab hours for $450 for the year. These are virtualized full IOS hosted by Cisco. This also includes their videos and other resources. Would this be enough for CCNP or would I need to supplement with GNS3? Planning on using Bryant's and Molinar's books.

Thanks

Great video. Thanks. Sir, I have an issue on how to configure my home cisco 2821 so that I can be able to call outside from my lan. The Router Go/1 is connected to the lan fa0/1. The G0/0 is connected to DSL service provider interface. How to connect the voice port to the DSL and configure it so that I could call out and receive calls from outside is the issue. Please help

Hi Jorge good video, I have a question related to the journey. Right now my current goal for cisco is CCNP.. but I am quite new to the industry. With the rise of SDN is it a good idea to branch off to programming/python or do you recommend focusing on cisco certifications?
