Running BI and Analytics on the Data Lake with Databricks' SQL Analytics service

This talk gives a brief overview with a demo of how you can use the new SQL Analytics service to query and visualize data in your data lake using a SQL-native interface. SQL Analytics allows you to achieve data warehousing performance at data lake economics for up to 9x better price/performance for SQL workloads than traditional cloud data warehouses. With the service, you can share query insights through rich visualizations and drag-and-drop dashboards with automatic alerting for important changes in your data. Additionally, SQL Analytics easily integrates with your existing BI tools, like Tableau and Microsoft Power BI, to allow you to analyze your most complete and recent data using the tools and processes you already have in place.
