Today I removed a tumor from under the right bottom corner of my big toe. I had no numbing medication it was shaking in pain but I did it. The strangest part is I always felt my knee was in the middle of a pop. Like an air buble behind my patella. After removing the tow tumor I no longer feel like my knee needs to fully pop.

my piriformis area is compressing the veins going to my legs but doing fascia release helps me so much, I'm going to try and do some work on the low back and thighs to see if i can persuade the fascia in the glutes to relax too but I also have TOS, same problem with veins but its more complicated so I'll find a professional to help me but even some self release of the scalenes and pec minor has helped a lot

Hey Dana, I'm working through a L5S1 herniation. Pain and "knots" are centralized to right hip/glute/piriformis/ area and tennis ball local rolling seems to bring relief for the most part but only temporary. I do pt and yoga as well, but can you tell me if fascia release in that area is recommended or if I should try something else? Thank you. Great Ted talk btw 👍👍

Doing something is better than doing nothing. Failure brings experience. Experience helps us to improve upon previous effort. Excess of everything even excess of water is bad. Can people do little little exercises unless recently injured? Is it true that in cardio-thoracic surgery floors of hospitals, operated patients are asked to move early and move often move little bit when they are awake from anesthesia given during heart, s operation?

I have same questions as also. I do recommend other use those tools in my sessions, but I also doubt why don’t just stretch the whole muscle chain instead of rolling those tools. What’s more, I also doubt is it effective way to treat our body? Fascia is not skeletal muscle, it’s type of smooth muscle. I think the approach should more attack their daily habit and emotion compare to just release the local or radiated area.

Thank you so much for your videos. I am a massage therapist and we have limited methods to check the fascia. Could you please introduce books regarding evaluating fascia and fascia restriction?
Most of the techniques are about releasing fascia but rarely I see techniques to evaluate and diagnosis.
