Hi everyone! Sorry, but I had to reload this one. I needed to clarify that the D is always dropped in some words like "handsome, " but in other words dropping the D is optional. Some speakers do and some don't. For example, I always drop the D when I talk about my grandparents, but it's not wrong to say the /d/. Thanks for understanding!

Hi Jennifer,
Thanks so much for your excellent lessons on youtube.
I've got a question with regard to the reduced sound of "and", which is pronounced /ən/ or /n/.
But for the word "on", it's also reduced to /ən/, right?
If so, how can I distinguish between these two words in listening, since they sound the same.
More importantly, in speaking, how should I pronounce them? If I pronounce them the same, it'll make my sentence confusing.
Many thanks again. Look forward to your valuable response.😊
Best regards!
