You did a really great job on the Blast 16 and the SNESES!

I haven’t gotten them yet- but I’ve seen several videos showcasing your frontends, and I’m planning on getting some Raspberry Pis to use them.

I have a few questions.

1) In the manual, it still recommends the Raspberry Pi 3B+ instead of the Raspberry Pi 4. Do you know if the Blast 16/SNESES would work with the 4? I’d assume that the 4 would be able to handle more games since it can have more RAM, but do you know how it’d look performance-wise? I haven’t seen anyone try out your front ends with a 4 yet, so I wanted to ask you!

2) You recommended the 8BitDo M30 controller in the manual, but do you know if there is a difference compared to a plug in controller?

Absolutely amazing. I heard of these images from Patton Plays and a few other YouTubers doing tutorials and reviews. I must say, I am impressed.

I know a lot of comments are urging and asking to support other consoles. I say nah, and I completely respect what was done. I love using my small micro SD cards for personal collections of my favorite games. My only concern was finding a shut down script. I know the Megapi and snespi scripts were meant to work right away... but I have a nespi+.

After hours of sifting through videos and Google searches I just decided to abandon that and do manual shut down. Upon testing I realized it was already set up to work. I am so happy and added a few games to each. Thank you so very much for your hard work. I love both images and look forward to the NES version.

I might wait for a few more updates. But I'm happy this is finally coming. Will you later be making it to where you can see more then 3 games at a time? I believe on Blast 16 its 5 or 4 you can see all at once. Great stuff man. 👍👍👍

I had a pretty good working image of this and then one day I booted up and was met with "chown: changing ownership of literally everything." Its like it was eating itself. I have tried over and over to re-image but have the same problem. It may be the mini SD but I don't know.

SNESES is only compatible with Direct Input (D-input) controllers. Is the Ps3 Controller okay ?
