In this episode, I trip up my two urban yamadori Amur Maples. There were many places where 5-7 branches were coming from one main area. I needed to pick some branches for the future.

I thought you were going to tell us you retrieved the stone and it was there sitting to the right of your Amure Maple clump. Seriously Dave, glad you got through it well. I like the branch by branch thought process you go through. I really appreciate you taking us along. It helps me with my own thought processes.

Fellow Kidney Stone sufferer here, they are no joke to have. I feel your pain. I’m from the UK and I’ve never been to Scotland. Tony is great. Our Kidney Stone issues seam small in comparison. I’ve wished him well and just hope he can carry on…. Loving your video’s too. I often like and subscribed but hardly ever comment.

WOW, I guess you weren't kidding me when I contacted you in the ER. I know where you come from. I was the first admitted patient at St. John's Hospital in Maplewood, when they first opened, with a kidney stone. The staff was so excited for their first patient, and all I wanted to do was to crawl under a semi in the parking lot to be put out of my misery. Cross my fingers, haven't had once since. I hope you figure something out.

Glad to see ur doing better. My thoughts on the 1st clump take out the front dead stright tree not sure it would add to the composition having the main tree soo stright up and one next to it curved and crossing unless theres a better angle i dont see it and save the curved one in the middle then reduce the other tree to the right of it. Hey dave have u ever been to a US national bonsai exhibition in rochester ny? Its going on this year in sept

I feel your pain when it comes to stones..I woke middle.of night few weeks ago to the worst pain ever . apparently I have few stones too..but small enough to pass through..I've been told to drink apple cider vinegar and lemon juice to keep them small.
