I have had one for 2 years. I have not had any major issues. Two things I do not like is the speed control (it can be bumped easily) and the battery dock (hard to remove batteries) I love not having to start a gas one and worry about all that goes with maintaining it.

I like the ego battery lawn mowers they have great reviews in Australia no shore about the Ryobi but alot of people have returned them to Bunnings

This one would definitely be good for cutting along fences I couldn’t imagine using this to mow an entire lawn. More like a support tool weedeater you can push lol

After 2 years mine has started stalling. The batteries we’re replaced so it’s something to do with the mower itself. The nearest repair center is 100 miles away and they can’t even look at it for 2 months from being so backed up😩

I have a brand new one sitting in my shed. My parents bought it. Adter looking over the instructions, I read that its not to be used if raining grass is damp. I dont cut in the rain, but damp grass? Im still using my gas powered mower for now. Warranty issue? Its useless to me if weather conditions need to be ideal for this machine to work.

They also have an 18-volt but it is too light fore most lawns so suggest 40 volt and actually weighs like a gas powered lawnmower

Mine dies when I use the self propelled handle so now it’s a push mower. Wouldn’t recommend

I don't recommend it. I just bought one today and already returned it and purchased a gas ⛽️ powered one instead. The battery lasts 20 minutes per charge and takes 2 hours and 30 minutes to be fully charged.
