Good review. Most comments are akin to the ones saying the BMW GS is better off-road than (Insert any other adventure bike). Most GS's never go near the dirt roads. And most sport bikes never go much further than 60 miles before a coffee stop, or 120 before running out of fuel. That's about the same as the Zero, so just find a coffee stop near a charging point ;-) Zero have come from nothing to producing a viable and fun to ride motorcycle in a very short time, well done.

As soon as a Graphene battery is available in this thing....take my money!

That price though. That is what I call steep... coming from an electric car owner.

Excellent review by Martin, why can’t more motorcycle journalists be like this.

I'm getting to this review obviously eight months late but this was a really well done review and probably be the first motorcycle review that I've heard that didn't have blaring metal music over the person that was speaking.

So good on that

Great to see bikes like this, they'll only get better as time goes on. I'm hoping the big manufacturers are doing some serious R&D. Electric is the future.

To date, the most informative intro that I've seen on this interesting bike. Liked, Subscribed.

Not enough power and range takes too long to charge. I'll buy electric some day but i'm not seeing the figures i like to see quite yet

EV for cars are pushing the industry to deliver cheaper batteries. Five years from now batteries will be quite a lot cheaper according to predictions. I think its smart to wait a bit more. Zero should also step up their design work. This was a very boring design in my opinion, looks 15 years old.

Spot on review. Ive run an SRF and yea range 75-80 miles range giving it the beans. Was £19K, bought it knowing its for squirting about on, perfect throttle control, regen and different. I like Zero quality this is my second I also had a DSR. I run a few other ICE bikes so swap about a bit, GSXR 1000 K5, Raptor 1000, the SRF can hold its own on fast A roads and will disappear on B roads. When Im in the mood for the Zero there is nothing like it.

Driven an electric bike some time ago and from that moment I knew: my next bike will be electric.

What's the life cycle of a battery? Will it keep the same charge in a year from now? Cheers.

I think prices was approaching 30-40 grand when I first heard about these bikes... so I’m not surprised about current prices now... as soon as this scales to the masses it will be more affordable at 10 grand...

Ergonomics, suspension feel, brake performance, mirrors, ride modes?

I guess you would have to ride with the power plug. A joy ride loop for me, on a cruiser, is about 170 miles. I think I could live with one of these with a distance in that area, or the ability to charge at tesla points.
I like it. 👍
