The BEST R6 Operator balancing Changes coming in Y9S3. Rainbow6 has gotten big upgrades this season with buffs to Nokk and Solis, as well as some nerfs to Dokkaebi, Ash, and Ram. How much do these changes actually achieve and is Dokkaebi still the best attacker in R6?

Quick note about Solis: it now only requires 50% of the spec-10 energy to be able to activate the ability, giving you much more control over it (compared to 100% in y9s2) While the rest of the changes seem incredibly detrimental it's quite easy to tell what gadgets are what based off their movement path/what they're doing. IMO I still overestimated the strength of these changes but still believe Solis is in a better position in Y9S3 than Y9S2. Reflecting on other comments I would move her down to C tier but still think she is a useful roamer.

Honestly i think Nokk need more then this, her popularity came because her silent steps and her frags, now without the silent steps and without the ability to cook the frag she’s just a empty shell of what she was

Solis is on a level comparable to thunderbird. From good to bad to horrible in no time, and making a nerf a reason for an up-tier is very strange.

I still would have rather have gotten the old concept they tested with nokk being immune to proximity based gadgets or giving her a new gun I mean now you can technically plant without an echo seeing you

You're straight up one of the first people I've seen that hasn't called the Solis changes bad. If she had gotten her impacts back then she 100% would have come out of this buffed over all.

Dokkaebi is not S tier no matter what anyone says it is not hard to counter calls at all and she only has a DMR or BOSSG, the nerf was not needed at all, she was F tier to everyone for like 7 seasons straight and now everyone thinks she is broken? No 😂

The change to Dokk completely nueters her. 45 seconds is way too long in a Siege match, and it makes you either play super slow (as a 3 speed) or just use no gadget. Which if that were the case then you have Striker who at least gets an additional grenade/breach. I really feel like this nerf is going to hurt her more than people are expecting in the long term

The thing w nokk is that bc she was sooo good in the pro league, she was nerfed. She was picked so much bc she took away the most powerful thing in siege. Sound. Ion think she will ever get silent step back

I think DOK calls are fine it gives time for you and you’re team to get into positions and start working the sites most people don’t call in the first 30 seconds of a round anyway

Nokk is at least B tier, she has a great fun and her ability literally counters all defensive ops with cams
