If you watch the video carefully you will see that she has her finger on the trigger while drawing the weapon. It’s amazing that she hadn’t already shot herself in the leg or shot another officer.

They need to identify where she received her safety training and require every officer that received the same training to be retrained.

That's all she needed? So she is saying this was an AD and she didn't mean to fire? So why was her finger on the trigger. The first thing they tell you in the academy in firearms training is keep your finger off the trigger unless you intend to shoot. These young men are very lucky they weren't killed. And if one of them had been, you better believe the Deputies would have dropped a gun in the car to justify their actions . Then they would charge the dead man's friends with his murder and lie in the report, lie in the investigation and and testalie in court to protect themselves.
