I once got pulled out by the sheriffs dept by Maywood, CA this was like 2021
I was parked, when a sheriff cruiser pulled up behind me
They opened my car and pulled me out without any explanation
They then put me in the back of a the patrol car in handcuffs
I was apparently detained at that moment. First time I heard that from them.
They then proceeded to inspect my car once again without probable cause.
Then they decided to cover their backs by recording me on their personal phone.
I told them “I wasn’t going to talk to them unless I have a lawyer present”
They then un-cuffed me
And cited me for a marijuana open container
Never got anything in the mail from that
That just shows how crooked that dept. is.

I feel like the LA County sheriffs department is the only law enforcement agency within the country that doesn’t get held accountable for the things that they do to people. Only if they had that sheriff Grady Judd from Polk county in Florida.
