1) Relative velocity
V(TP) = V(T) - V(P)
= 50 - (-5) ms-¹
= 55m/s
A(TP) = 3 m/s²
2) S(PT) = U(PT) × t
t = S(PT) / U(PT)
t = 150 / U(p) - U(t)
t = 150 / 15
t=10 seconds
3) when the distance between them is decreasing it means that the particles moving towards each other
V(1) - V(2) = 6 ••••••••(1)
when the distance between them is increasing it means that the particles go away from each other
V(1) + V(2) = 4 ••••••••••••(2)
On adding 1 and 2
We get
V(1) = 5m/s
V(2) = 1 m/s

2. Time taken is 10s
3. Velocity of the first partical is 5m/s and the second partical is 1m/s
