Answer for hw question is (d).
V1=h/t1 so t1=h/v1.
Similarly t2=h/v2.
h/t=(ht2 + ht1)/t2*t1
Cancel h and the answer is t=(t1*t2)/(t1 + t2).😃
h/t is obtained as v1 + v2 equations are added, and also effective v=h/t 👍

Guys Suri (Mogambo) sir here..

Answer to the Homework question is (d) t1.t2/t1+t2

For all those who answered correctly "Mogambo Khush Hua"

Sir what about umbrella and river problems ?😢

Sir the answer is coming as option d
As we take Vm+Ve= h/t
(1/t1)+(1/t2) = 1/t
So t = t1t2/(t1+t2)

To all those angels who made VEDANTU a reality.... I can't say how much grateful we all are. I was so hopeless before this but being a small part of vedantu makes me so confident and positive. Thank you so very much for bringing lots of us from the darkness to the light. All the teachers are brilliant and can't be compared!!!😊😊

Relative velocity of body is v1+v2 as seen by observer. Correct option is (D):t1.t2/t2+t1

The answer is D .first find the vertical component of all the three cases. Noted that in this case the angle is same.so we get t1=h/v1cos(theta). t2=h/V2 cos(theta). Where v1 and v2 are velocity by step and escalator. And similarly Ttotal=h/(v1+V2)cos(theta). By using this we get Ttotal=t1t2/(t1+t2)

Option d for the home work answer i.e T1T2÷T1+T2

I just can say THANK YOU VERY (as I don't have other words)

v1=h/t1
v2=h/t2
v21= h { (t1+t2) / t1*t2 }
t21=h/v21=( t1*t2)/t1+t2
so correct answer is OPTION D
