9/11 Memorial and Museum Tour Checklist

We’re excited to have you on our tour and looking forward to guiding you through this reflective, memorable journey. The following video will explain what to expect and how to prepare for your trip.

MEETING TIME & LOCATION
Please arrive no less than 15 mins before the meeting time stated on your reservation. Tours leave on time! The meeting location is in front of St-Paul’s Chapel. It is located on Broadway between Fulton and Vesey Streets and is easily accessible from these subway stations: Cortland Station on the R and W lines, Fulton Station on the A, C, J, Z, 2, 3, 4, and 5 lines. Budget at least a 5 min walk through the streets or inside the subway stations to reach the meeting location. Our guides are clearly identified.

BE COMFORTABLE
We want you to be comfortable. Always wear appropriate clothing. New York City is a true four-seasons city, so check the weather before you head to your tour. Also, wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated. The tour is 90 minutes and there isn’t a bathroom break, but before the tour you can use the facilities at Fulton Station. They’re close by and clean.

HERE WE GO!
For 90 minutes, you will see the sites, hear heroic stories and discover how from the ashes of 9/11 something new emerged. All our guides on this tour are New Yorkers who were in the city on that fateful day, and they’ll share with you their personal experiences. Every tour is unique. If you return to visit with a different guide, you’ll get a different experience.

SECURITY
The tour ends on the grounds of the memorial.
If you purchased the 9/11 Museum and / or the One World Observatory upgrades, your guide will give you your tickets and personally lead you to those entrances.
Both the museum and the observatory have security before entering, similar to airport screenings.
