Показать описание
Are you one of those people who 'just can't remember names'? The fact is that almost everybody can. It's just that we either don't choose to put in the effort, or we don't know the techniques. So, here are my top 7 ways to remember names.
“Hello, I’m Mike Clayton from OnlinePMCourses”
1. Pay attention! Care - hear - register
“Mike Clayton - OnlinePMCourses - I get it”
2. Notice it. Repeat the name
“Mike Clayton, hello. I’m pleased to meet you, Mike”
3. Practice it. Spell it out (out loud or mentally)
“M-i-k-e C-l-a-y-t-o-n”
4. Remark it. Comment on the name or make a memorable story
“OnlinePMCourses? What’s that about, Mike?”
5. Use it. During your first meeting
People love to hear their name “When can we meet properly, Mike?”
6. Link it. Make a connection or visualize pictures in your mind
“I can see Mike Speaking at my local professional Project Management group - that will go down well”
7. Say it as you leave - it’s one more chance
“It was great to meet you Mike - do you have a business card?”
