When I choose Beacon via TNC I get an Oops message that callsign-SSID pair must be AX.25 compliant. It won't let me change my station.

Does this allow you to view nearby APRS beacons on a map if you aren't connected to the internet? Can I see others in my offroad group who are beaconing when we are out of cellular coverage?

Hi, do you always must go to MORE and connect to the TNC again or will this connect automatically next time? I'm considering this to run but wondering how fast can I get running it. If there will be not to many clicks :) Just start a car, that powers radio+TNC and then just start the app? Or connect again the app with TNC?

thanks for the video, first time getting into APRS
I'm going to be on a hiking trip in the middle of Utah, multiple hams suggests I get into APRS. So I ordered everything and have it connected to an FT-60R. I have both the apps, but I'm not seeing myself on the map. What am I doing wrong or am I having false expectations of what APRS is meant for?
