I use look4sat foe satellite tracking. I use it on android. I'm not sure if it's available on Apple.

I'll try that logger, but I started with VLS Logger on Android from the Play Store and I like how it works. I export to ADIF to import to QRZ which sends to LOTW in an attempt to keep everyone happy.

Where is this Hammer Logs software? I don't see in on Google or FDroid. Does it submit SOTA logs?

- Pat (have been using this for Winlink for a long time and it's open source runs on Linux and others)
- RepeaterSTART (I built a newer version now that improves search and allows resizing the map panel now, it works on both Android and Linux phone).

This may be off the wall, however here goes. Can you connect a mobilinkd TNC-4 to a PC from a command prompt program do pure packet radio. And possibly set up a digipeater or Packet BBS.

Can you sideload apps on iphone yet? Or are you still depended on the appstore? One big plus for android is you can save all the apks on a sd card or usb dongle and install them anywhere. No internet? no problem. App was removed from the app store? No problem. SHTF? No problem.

Hi all, also a great logging software is RumLogNG for iOS and iPadOS (and of course the MacOS). In combination with the iCloud you have the possibility to have a synchronized log all over your Apple devices.

I had HamAlert on my phone for a while and after a few FT8 contacts in which my call sign was immediately detected and searchable on a popular web-based ham reporter (PSKReporter) - HamAlert failed to find/report/alert to it. So I wasn’t impressed and deleted the app.

I know it was a very short trial and maybe not fair but I figured if PSKReporter saw me on the air, then HamAlert should have too. It didn’t.
PSKReporter showed my signal being heard and reported from more than 40 locations all over the US and a few as far away as Central Europe, so propagation was not a factor.

I have done some digging into Paratek, I was searching so hard because I couldn't find much info on Paratek and the same script kept appearing about it being 3rd generation AI!!!! which is BS .. Its not paranormal and its NOT AI its voice to text with random words thrown in.. and if i'm honest I am gutted because I really wanted to believe i was getting messages from the unknown! but unfortunately Its a company who specialises in Voice to Text recognition a company called Speachmatics ...
