Side-Swiping a Lawsuit

The plaintiff says the defendant sideswiped his car while he was parking. He claims the defendant tried to flee, but then a cop stopped him. The plaintiff says the defendant’s insurance adjustor determined his car was totaled, so he’s suing for car damages, storage fees, and a rental car. The defendant argues the plaintiff backed into his car. He says the plaintiff doesn’t have a license, registration, or insurance.

The fact that the plaintiff says the drivers side door doesn’t open at the very beginning of the case Makes me question if the defendant caused the damage or was it damaged prior.

For the upcoming criminal case:
1. Plaintiff needs to receive car rental and storage- dock that off defendant's tab.
2. Judge needs to take into consideration the fact the defendant fled and tried to evade the accident.

This is definitely a time a copy of this tape needs to to be shown to the criminal court judge to show how the defendant is.

I don't trust either of these litigants. The defendant claimed the accident didn't cause any damage to the plaintiff's car even though the evidence shows otherwise. He doesn't actually come out and say the plaintiff had another accident and is trying to scam him, though, it's just, "Trust me, Your Honor. Don't believe your lying eyes."

The plaintiff tried to slip in a DUI accusation but had to fall back on "The cops didn't ticket him because they felt sorry for him."
