I love small wins and guitarsinals. Small wins are so inspirational and keep me from getting in a practice slump.

Just wanted to let you know. This show you guys put on every week helps keep me sane on long graveyard shifts. I've been playing one year now and just love listening to your show on a speaker in my hard hat.#smallwin got my first complement from a stranger last week while I was playing at camp with my morning coffee.

Amazing! The 517 sounds like my Martin D Jr -10E in Sunburst, full and even toned!

Watched Tuesday evening from Boston Massachusetts, but forgot to comment. Thank you for another interesting show. Trivia up to 3 at the moment. Looking forward to the return of the guitarsenals, hopefully in show AT100. Gee, a full century or Acoustic Tuesdays.

Hey Tony, So I’m with you on the Black Graphite Nut and strap button position.
First off, they used to come without a strap button by the neck when they first released. The reason they put it on the back is for comfort up the neck with it being rounded and all. I don’t like that it pitches the guitar forward when standing but that’s just me!

Second: I did some geeky research a while ago when V ass first came out on the nut and found that they actually use graphite because it has a smoother tuning ability than a bone nut without nut-sauce or some other lubricant. This makes perfect sense because one of the signature aspects of the V Class is improving intonation consistently all through the fretboard. No more annoying clicks and pops when tuning! (I would like to play one with a bone nut for tonal reference however)

Anyways, hope this helps. I love the show and constantly spread the word. Cheers!

Hi Tony and Noah, tuning in from sunny mid Wales. Firstly, thank you for reading out my comment and question, and more importantly for your very enlightening answer. I knew You Tube had its little robots and other stuff but now I understand how it effects you getting AT out to the rest of the world. So, my watching the show in two or three bite size chunks wasn't helping you at all. From now on, however long the show, I will find a time I can sit and watch it all, while having a mug of tea and chocolate digestive biscuits. Finally, loved the camping video, I would be up in those mountains too, and you're just up the road from Yellowstone as well. You are so lucky. Although mid Wales is a lovely place to live. Take care guys and thanks for all you do.

Can't wait for episode 100! And it's good to experiment with formats and what not. Maybe tell us when you guys are doing it so we know you're not just removing segments. I hope to see small wins in the future. Keep rocking guys! ^_^

Thank you for the explanation for why small wins have not been as prominent in recent episodes. It's good to know the community aspects of the show are not forgotten. Great show! The Grand Pacific guitars sound quite nice. It's a pity that the nearest taylor dealer is over two hours away.

Thanks again, AT, for yet another quality episode. A couple of #smallwin reports to note: my wife & I are catching Tommy E next week in Annapolis, MD and last week's AT 98 introduced, to me at least, Mandolin Orange, and their awesome musicality. So much so, that I've since snagged tix to their November show in DC (and picked up a couple of their CDs as well). Good stuff!
