When I broke my neck and jaw, my husband no longer wanted me. He used to say he didn’t want a sick wife and that he was gonna trade me in for a new model. My best friend at the time set my husband up with her cousin, and they got married after we got divorced. Then she died. So I guess he he went from a sick wife to a dead one. 2 years into the relationship and my boyfriend broke up with me saying he needed time to fix himself. He also assured me that he won’t use this to just go find another girl. 2 weeks after, he’s already seen with someone else he referred to as his “friend”. I thought we were a great couple, we got along so well. I thought he loved me, because we have beautiful memories of 14 happy years. Unfortunately I suffer from 2 chronic illnesses that cause me a lot of pain. It definitely affected our relationship, intimacy was difficult for me at times. After 14 years he found someone better for him he cheated and left me for her. It's been 4 years, and it still hurts, I didn't take it well at first. Physically, every day is a struggle. Recently, I had major surgery, and I'm slowly recovering. My heart is still broken, but I have to be strong for our 3 kids. He is still living with the same woman, and they're very happy together.
