I am 57 years old and I am training to swim from Alcatraz Island to Aquatic Park in San Francisco. I watched your video on swimming smoothly. It has helped me become less tired and out of breath by kicking less and gliding more. I am a teacher by profession for the past 25 years. You are an excellent teacher. Seriously…you’re amazing. Thank you!

I am one person that you have helped. I swim so amazing now that swim instructors ask me if i am a professional swimmer. I just tell them no i am learning and my instructor is youtube. They cannot believe i can apply youtube lessons and have taught myself without anyone watching me. I have done a lot of your steps. Thank you

Wow the animation is a million times better. The strokes looks really really smooth. Might be even better than a human

I love this video‼ I use a Quantum Jumping technique to jump over to myself that never stops swimming and became a elite Olympic athlete. I am 63 years old and been doing this technique for The Last 5 Years. Not to boast or brag but I'm as fast as most 21-year-olds. I swim one discipline and that's freestyle.
I'm training to be a a World Triathlon champion by the time I'm 70 to 75. Thanks for all your help. 🚴 🏃 🏊

Hey buddy, awesome video! I've been swimming since I was 2, went to nationals in Mexico until I was 19, stopped swimming for 13 years and recently started swimming again. I'm glad I ran into your videos, shines light into swimming mysteries, I'm starting to have fun and at the same time getting smoother, lots to learn and practice! Thank you !

I've been swimming for almost 10 years now, most of the years competitively and now I race triathlons. But I am still learning so much from this one video

This is the loveliest swimming video, ever. It has doses of humanity and perspective, but also bridges the gap especially for adult swimmers who can overthink EVERYTHING. Well done, and thank you. You and Brenton Ford are the only two sources of swimming information anyone needs. Really superb, abrazos mi amigo.

I learnt to swim from youtube at the age of 28, and your channel was the best of all the channels I've seen, thanks ❤ from Morocco

😔 I've failed miserably at some basic rights of passage.. I can't ride a bicycle because I can't balance, & I cannot swim since I almost drowned at 8 yrs old. I'm early 50's and alas time has run out on me. I'm jealous to tears😥(not envious) when I see others riding or swimming.

I learned swimming by trial and error. I was swimming countless kilometres from 4 years old to 17. I was a decent swimmer. But i never understood what am i doing or why. I was just swimming. As an adult and when i stoped swimming i started having questions and i just turned back to the pool struggling a lot. This video was an eye oppener i hope i had a time machine. Maybe i will start swimming again more seriously.

Please Turkish subtitles because there is no channel in our country that teaches the intricacies of swimming like you do.
I'm trying to understand something with YouTube translation, but it's not always understood...
But still, it is a very valuable channel for me, it has taught me a lot. Thank you very much for this, I am grateful.

I love the story telling and the "days of future past" illustration. It is so educating and aptly captures the common problems and challenges of all categories of swimmer and the possible solutions to the challenges are proffered. Great job.
