Like my sisters and niece they hate me because I don't have kids and they have like 3 minimum each and I don't stress over the money they have to spend on food and everything else. My bank account is fat and theirs isn't because of their responsibilities. 😅

I think its so weird, nobody in my family, especially my cousins of my own age who have kids, have ever asked me or insist I should have kids. They wanted kids and had them, and thats what matters to them.

As a woman that loves children, and always wanted them, I've also always understood that we humans are INDIVIDUALS. My life dreams aren't going to be the same as other ppl's. I had two children and I'm glad I did, but again, children were MY dream.
I've experienced first hand how disastrous it can be for children when their parents don't want them.
My own kids don't want to have kids and I've repeatedly reassured them that they each have their OWN life path and there's absolutely NOTHING wrong with not wanting to become a parent.
I've never looked down on child free ppl and respect them. I want for my fellow human beings to get to be happy as long as they don't hurt anyone.
You don't owe someone else's life to ANYONE, including your own parents. A child is a LIFE, not a toy or trophy to show off.

We women as a whole need to do better and support each other in our wants and needs in life. Some women love being mothers and are amazing at it. Some women are amazing at being childless and into travel. Let’s be excited for each other not negative towards each other. Sending much love to moms, non-moms of all color and sizes.

For some of these women, I think the issue is the males they are married too or in rlsp with.

Let’s keep in real. Besides financial issues, if many African women had good healthy rlsps with a quality man, they wouldn’t be so miserable and having and raising kids wouldn’t be seen as so stressful.

Part of the rise in CF women is bcos many don’t feel a lot of men are worth the risk of having children for.
