I remember when my brother and I built our first desktop, smack bad in the middle of the hardware crisis of 2017, it was around 800 euros, bottom of the barrel everything, R3 1200, RX580, 8GB of low frequency RAM, now my build I splurged on a good modular PSU, case, motherboard, NVME SSD, R5 5600 and luckily a RX7600 at half price, and I'm not even scraping the same costs as before.

I think a lot of console gamers are watching your videos on budget builds lately. I would be very interested to see more of a deepdive into ps5 / ps5 pro vs similar priced pc builds in terms of performance, longevity etc

I personally wouldn't bios flash the 5700. It bumps up the voltage and power draw too much for my liking. I just overclock and undervolt it. From my experience the performance difference between a bios flashed 5700 vs a 5700 with undervolt + OC is negligible but there is a 50watt power draw difference. Not worth shortening the lifespan of the card.

I managed to squeeze together a $520 build (ryzen 5600, rx 6600, 16 ram, 2 tb, 650 power supply, case w/3 built in fans).
It's so cool being able to have so many options to suit any budget as far as parts and components.
