Should you build a $500 gaming PC?

FINALLY! A build with the 1080! Such a great value graphics card, I have one in my $600 12600k build, (in the NZXT H510) which for gaming could do with an i3 for another $500 build.

Yeah when I got a PC back in 2019, I got a cyberpowerpc prebuilt for $500 and it came with a ryzen 5 3600, 8gb ddr4 3000mhz ram, an rx580, and 600W psu and tbh it ran extremely well, but over the years I did have to upgrade the ram, gpu, and storage, and all in all the upgrades cost me like $460, but now it's got practically double the performance

Ngl for gaming specifically, you get either more resolution or FPS if gaming on a used Series X for $400.

Only thing I'd do is get a none g unless you are using the integrated graphics while looking for the gpu
